Scheduled

As part of the AWS Lift and Shift migration project, Identity Self Service (im.ucsb.edu) and IAM Helpdesk web application will experience a scheduled downtime on Saturday, May 9 from 8 am to 5 pm:

During the outage, users will not be able to make changes to their Profile, change NetID passwords or activate NetIDs.
During the outage, users will not be able to create or update Affiliates or manage Group Tags.
Please engage any existing downtime procedures and notifications appropriate to your staff, faculty, students and general users.

The date and time was chosen in order to minimize impacts to users, and we ask for your patience and understanding as we get through this migration, which includes over 800+ servers across UCSB.

Migrating to AWS will create campus data center capacity for faculty research computing and storage needs, while enhancing resiliency and cost transparency for our systems.

Please contact Jim Woods jwoods@ucsb.edu, if you have any questions or concerns.
